QUESTIONS

  • Can I check books out?
    Yes. You can check books out for 14 days. One book per person. CLI students can check out up to three books.
  • When is the library open?
    We are open Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 2:30 pm. If you'd like to visit outside of those hours, please send us an email at library@communitylit.org.
  • Can I rent the library space for events?
    Absolutely! We have indoor and outdoor space available. Check out our event request page for more info. (Coming soon.)
  • How many people can fit in the space for events?
    60 people.
  • Is the space wheelchair accessible?
    Yup! We have a ramp. The bathroom is accessible too.
  • Do you have gender-neutral bathrooms?
    We only have one bathroom. Any and all genders welcome.
  • How can I donate books?
    You can mail them to 2702 West Florence Ave, Los Angeles CA 90043 or drop them off during our business hours (M-F, 9:30am - 2:30pm).
  • How can I donate money?
    We'd love for you to become a member of the library. We have three different tiers of monthly donations. Check out our Membership page for more information. We also love one-time donations.
  • Do you have a computer lab?
    We do! We have four laptops with headphones. We also have wi-fi available.
